We are glad to announce that the new version of ARI Smart Content 1.7.0 is ready. Some bugs have been fixed in this version. Besides it allows working with plugins from ARI Smart Content plugins repository. Repository contains plugins that can widen the component's functionality. Now it contains only several plugins but their number will be increased constantly. You don't need to pay to get acccess to repository, everyone who has ARI Smart Content (DataTable Pack, Image Pack, News Pack) will be able to use these plugins.

ARI Zoom: automatically zooming pictures. The component lets you to show a magnifier window near the image.

Features:
* Zooming image - shows a nice mignifier window near the original image.

* Thumbnail autogeneration feature - do more need to have both thumbnail and large image

Attributes:
   src - Path to the image. (Mandatory)
   srcSmall - Path to the thumbnail. If not indicated then thumbnail will be automatically generated using thumbWidth and thumbHeight attributes. If one of these attributes is skipped then the thumbnail will be generated using the indicated attribute and initial picture propotions. Thumbnail autogeneration feature needs GD, ImageMagick or magickwand library installed. (Optional)
   thumbWidth - Width of thumbnail to be generated from the initial image. (Optional)
   thumbHeight - Height of thumbnail to be generated from the initial image. (Optional)
   xzoom - Zooming div default width. (Optional)
   yzoom - Zooming div default height. (Optional)
   offset - Zooming div default offset. (Optional)
   position - Zooming div default position: left, right. (Optional)
   preload - Preload or not big images. (Optional)
   lens - Show lens or not. (Optional)

ARI Zoom is also included in ARI Smart Content component that has several plugins to create different UI effects, among them: ARI Magnifier - nice magnification effect for your images, ARI JFancyBox - Fancybox popup and ARI Fancy Thumbnail.
