Events source - Database
The extension retrieves data from Joomla! database and show these as events. Use "Start date field", "End date field" and etc. parameters to specify mapping between data columns and event properties. For example if "Start date field" is set to EventDate value then values of EventDate column from database column will be used to populate start date field in events. The following parameters can be configured for this events source:
- Query is a SELECT SQL query which is used to retrieve data from Joomla! database. For example the following SQL query can be used to show Joomla! articles as events in the calendar, articles created date will be used as events start date:

- All day event is used to mark the events as all data events or not.
- ID field is name of column from the query which will be used to populate ID field in events. It used to retrieve data for the event on event's details page.
- Start date field is name of column from the query which will be used to populate start date field in events. This field is mandatory.
- End date field is name of column from the query which will be used to populate end date field in events.
- Link field is name of column from the query which will be used to populate link field in events.
- Item template is a template which will be used to populate events' title. Possible to use values of columns from the query. For this add {$COLUMN_NAME} code to the template. Where COLUMN_NAME is name of column from the query which value will be used in the template. For example if want to use value of ProductTitle column, use {$ProductTitle} code.
- Description template is a template which will be used to populate events' description. Possible to use values of columns from the query like from Item template parameter.
