"ARI Smart Content - GChart" module shows different types of graphs and charts. The module can be enabled/disabled and configured on "Extensions → Module Manager" page on Joomla! backend. The module offers the following parameters:
- Data source is a main and required parameter. It is used to select the data source which will be used to provide data for charts. It is possible to select data sources from Database data section.
- Use constant ID if the parameter is set to 'Yes', table container will have the constant ID based on module ID. It can be useful for caching or other purposes.
- Load method is used to specify load method on client side. If it is set to 'On Load', the chart will be created when page and all resources (images, styles and etc.) are loaded by a browser. If it is set to 'DOM Ready', the chart will be created immediately when page is loaded (it doesn't wait till all resources are loaded, they will be loaded in parallel). In other words, 'DOM Ready' event occurs before 'On Load' and if possible it is preferable to use it instead of 'On Load'. This parameter can be useful to resolve conflict with some 3rd party extensions, if the extension doesn't work properly when it's set to 'DOM Ready', try to switch it to 'On Load'.
- Module Class Suffix will be applied to the CSS class of the module. This allows for individual module styling.
- Width is used to specify width of chart. If you want to create a responsive chart, set value in percent. Possible values: 500, 80% and etc.
- Height is used to specify height of chart. Possible values: 400, 520 and etc.
- Background color is used to select the background color of the main area of the chart.
- Series colors are colors to use for the chart elements. Place each color on new line.
- Font size is the font size for all text fields in the chart, in pixels. Possible values: 10, 16, 20 and etc.
- Legend font size is the size of the legend font, in pixels. Possible values: 10, 16, 20 and etc.
- Legend color is the legend text color.
- Reverse categories if set to 'Yes', will draw series from right to left. The default is to draw left-to-right.
- Title color is the color for the chart title.
- Title font size is the font size for the chart title, in pixels. Possible values: 10, 16, 20 and etc.
- Tooltip font size is the font size of the tooltip text, in pixels. Possible values: 10, 16, 20 and etc.
- Tooltip color is the color of the tooltip text.
- Label length if label has length more than this parameter it will be truncated. Set it to '0' if you don't want to truncate labels.
- Truncated label postfix is string which will be added to end of truncated label if 'Label length' parameter specified and label was truncated.

- Text color specifies the color of the vertical axis text.
- Title specifies the title of the vertical axis.
- Title color specifies the color of the vertical axis title.
- Min value property that specifies the lowest vertical axis grid line. The actual grid line will be the lower of two values: the minValue option value, or the lowest data value, rounded down to the next lower grid mark.
- Max value property that specifies the highest vertical axis grid line. The actual grid line will be the greater of two values: the maxValue option value, or the highest data value, rounded up to the next higher grid mark.
- Gridlines count is the number of gridlines inside the chart area.
- Gridlines color is the color of the gridlines inside the chart area.
- Bar chart is created bar chart. The following parameters can be configured:
- Chart area height specifies height of chart area. If the parameter is empty, the height will be calculated automatically. Values: 90%, 75% and etc.
- Chart are width specifies width of chart area. If the parameter is empty, the width will be calculated automatically. Values: 90%, 75% and etc.
