We don't know have you technical background or not, but if you know CSS, you can see that top container of your site template contains "overflow: hidden" property. It means that all child elements which not in container region will be hidden. BTW, if two elements intersect it is usually require to specify different "z-index" CSS property for them that indicate priority of elements.

i have insert the module yui menu in an article
the module display well but when i click for see the submenu
nothing display
