We use ari-smart content to create a table from a .csv file.

When we first installed Ari-Smart, the nice graphical formatting was not being applied to the table that we are using. We gave the ARI Soft staff a login to our site. They logged in and noticed that there was a jquery conflict on our site and installed a system-xyz plugin that helped fix that issue.

Everything ran great, but a month or so ago the formatting stopped working again. The table generated by ari-smart content began to display in plain black and white again.

I don't want to hassle the staff here and ask them to log onto our site again, so I am first asking everyone else.

... how would we detect what is causing this?

I turned off things that I thought were using javascript such as a google translation module, and some side tabs. Nothing helped.

Our template uses a menu that uses mootools. I tried various menu settings and still nothing would make the formatting come back.

I did upagrade to the latest version of the ari-smart content component. All the necessary plugins are enabeled.

... any suggestions on what I should do.

Hello,

This conflict with 'GTranslate' module. 'ARI JDataTable' and this module use jQuery library and including of this library by the module clears previous inclusions which were done by 'ARI Smart Content' that avoid this problem install 'System - ARI Smart Content' plugin instead of 'ARI Smart Content' content plugin. This plugin can be found here on F.A.Q. tab. Download, install and enable it. After this disable 'ARI Smart Content' plugin. If you have any difficulties with it, you can provide temporary access to your Joomla! backend and we'll help.

Regards,
ARI Soft
