I just installed smart content on my test site.

Not an issue anymore.

After searching the Internet for similar things I found that the {...} code has to be plain, it shouldn't be cut and pasted from examples unless in html mode.

(Suggestioon : you might want to make a minor tweak to your examples to either wrap them in a [ code ] window, or mention somewhere that this is required.

It is possible to cut and paste them straight in without using the html switch - but you have to be careful about tags getting in the middle which stops them working.

Another suggestion - you might want to invest in a manual - .pdf format or something that we can have at hand as we use things (jumping back and forth to examples to see the syntax is a little bothersome)
