TOPIC: Default sorting of JDataTable

Default sorting of JDataTable 8 Years, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi there,

I hope I'm not asking a question that's already been submitted, but couldn't find this info in the forums or on the instructional page for JDataTable.

Just wondering if there is some way to set the default sorting for a column, i.e. asc or desc?

The page in question can be viewed here:

www.dip.qld.gov.au/newsletters/local-government-bulletins.html

Basically, I'd like the first column to sort desc not asc as it currently shows - so that the latest bulletin is on top. I could use the JTableSorter but I like the search functionality of the JDataTable

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello,

Unfortunately the plugin doesn't support this ability, but you can submit feature request and we'll implement this possibility in the next release.
