Sorting Errors for JDataTable and JTableSorter 15 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 0
JDataTable does not appear to be sorting dates correctly (whereas JTableSorter appears to sort them correctly).

JTableSorter does not appear to be sorting numbers correctly (whereas JDataTable appears to be sorting them correctly).

Could these be looked into please?

Thanks for your reply, I'm currently working on my local server since I have not had my production license issued yet.

I've unhidden my email address in my profile, would you mind sending me a quick email so I can have your address and then I can go ahead and get some nice screenshots setup and copies of the CSV files and settings and send them to you?

Has this been resolved?

I am also having the same problem with getting my first field (which consists of all numbers) to sort values correctly.

Hello,

You have another problem. This issue appears because 'disc ID' field contains HTML tag <a> with number and plugin sort it as string. You can submit feature request that 'ARI JDataTable' supports sorting of simple text ignore HTML tags.
