I have the smart content component installed. I would like to be able to use the J News Slider plugin. I input this in the smart content module in the parameters,

{arijnewsslider height="130" width="496"
articleSortField="ordering" articleItemCount="3" articleSecId="2" articleCatId="5"}
{$title}
{$introtext}
{/arijnewsslider}



I'd like for it to pull articles from that category into the slider. Do I also have to set parameters in the component plugin window. I tried adjusting setting there but nothing worked?
