Ari Slider ver 2.2.1 missing Nivo Slider 7 Years, 12 Months ago

I upgraded to 3.5.1 and the trusty Ari Slider quit working.
I downloaded ver. 2.2.1 (verified it in the manage extensions that it did install) and get the error message TypeError:$(...).nivoSlider is not a function.

How do we fix that? Right now, it is prominently missing on a live site.

FYI: The images are in the directory after the update and change to 3.5.1 so all the config is there, it just seems something is missing from the plugin??

Would appreciate your help as soon as possible.

Hello, It seems this is a problem with a 3rd party extension (or site template) which loads own copy of jQuery library instead of using instance of jQuery which is loaded by Joomla! Can investigate the problem in more details if you provide a link to a page where the problem occurs. Regards, ARI Soft

jQuery library is loaded at least 3 times on the page. One time by Joomla!, one time by "easytabs" extension and a some extension or site template loads one more instance of jQuery. Regards, ARI Soft
