HTTPS problem with JQuery call; images askew? 10 Years, 7 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi there,

I upgraded to the latest version (like we were talking about in my previous post) which did fix the image paths. But now I'm still getting the "some items are not secure" error and have narrowed it down to ARI Slider's JQuery call in the code. I tried turning off the "Include JQuery" setting in the module, but that just seems to disable its functionality altogether. How can I get around this to avoid errors?

We also noticed that after the upgrade, all of the articles (which are images in our case) shifted down and to the left. It cuts off the images and then they even overlap into the next slide. I attached a screenshot of one of them (the left side is the end of the previous slide/image).

You can also see the site in question at 162.209.53.71/. (The original certificate error is to be expected, as our IP address doesn't match the domain name on our certificate - what we're worried about is the "secure items" on the page itself).

Thanks a bunch,
Christiana

Hello,

Download and upgrade the module again please. It should resolve the problem with HTTPS.

Got it...secure items errors are gone, thanks.

Can you tell me why the previous upgrade would have caused the shift in article position within the border? They used to rotate perfectly with no borders/overlap. I tried editing the CSS but so far haven't had any luck.

Thanks,
Christiana

If you want to remove padding, add the following CSS rule to "CSS Styles" parameter in module settings:

.ari_slider .ari_slider_item_inline
{
padding: 0;
}
