There seems to be some sort of conflict that is preventing ARIslider from sliding.

It works fine when I use the module on articles which do not use the ARI sexy lightbox. However, when I embed the ARI sexy Lightbox script into even one article, the slider gets stuck and I cannot use any of the controls to move it.

The embed script I'm using is:
{arisexylightbox activeType="rcontent" width="640" height="480" url="www.mySampleurl.com" link="(click Here to preview in a floating window/lightbox)" title="HotNSexy Directory"}{/arisexylightbox}

Does this have anything to do with the jQuery settings of each module?

I have both modules jQuery set to 'No' only because I already have jQuery running for other modules and when I enable ARI's jQuery settings, it messes up (expands) my other accordian & drop down nav menus. This is the only reason i have ARI modules disabling jQuery.

Besides, they work fine with jQuery disabled - other than this conflict between the slider & lightbox.

This is the Link to the home page which is where the slider module is supposed to shuffle various articles.

I'm not sure what you can debug from the front end, but if you need to see my joomla module settings, I can either send you screen shots with the module settings info or please provide me with a direct email address where I can send you the access codes.

Thanks.

It seems this problem with 3rd party extension which uses jQuery library. jQuery library is loaded several times on provided page. We can recommend to disable jQuery loading in all extension (ARI Slider, ARI Sexy Lightbox, JBolo and others) because it is loaded by site template and it is enough.

I double checked and it seems I already had JQuery disabled from all modules (ARI modules & jBolo). see attached screenshot.

Once jQuery is disabled, do the other settings matter? (i.e. jQuery noConflict)

I set jQuery noConflict to no on all ARI modules just in case.

Are you seeing any errors that indicate that jBolo is loading jQuery?

ARI slider is still frozen.

Nothing changes on provided page. Several jQuery instances are loaded. You can track javascript including with help FireBug addon for FireFox browser.

PS: If you wish, you can provide temporary access to your Joomla! backend by email and we will investigate the issue in more details.
