TOPIC: Pageload

Pageload 14 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
Just a few things:

1. I set the module to the "left" position, without showing its title, but what I get is a box on the left with the "link text". I don't want it to show up as a module on the left. What can I do to sort this?

2. I can't get the popup to appear automatically when the page loads. I'm trying to give my visitors some suggestions throuhg a popup whenever a particular page loads. What am I doing wrong?

3. Is there a way to show the popup only once when the page loads (to avoid the notice coming up every time the visitor sees that page)?

Thanks!

Hello,

Regarding your questions:

1. Leave 'Link text' parameter empty.

2. Do you set 'Open on load' parameter to 'Yes'? If yes, provide link, please, where we can see this issue or temporary access to your Joomla! backend by email that we can provide solution ASAP.

3. Unfortunately the extension doesn't support this ability, but we'll add this possibility in the next version.

Okay, I fixed everything. Pages wouldn't load due to other installed modules/components going in conflict (things like moopopup, pandanotes, thickbox - the plugins I had tried before finding your lightbox). Leaving the text link blank gets rid of the link, but you still get a module box on the left. I fixed this by simply changing the module position to "syndicate". I suppose this could be a template issue?

Oh, and yes, please, if you can add the "show only once" parameter it would be fantastic!!! Will I be able to get the update free or will I have to pay again?

I can't, unfortunately, give backend access because I'm working locally using server2go - I will then be using something like joomlapack to transfer the site live, and I hope to have all bugs sorted out by then!!

Thanks again!

Hello,

Regarding module box, it seems your template creates border for all modules in 'left' position. About new version, it doesn't require additional fee, you can download new versions of the extension during one year in 'Member Area' on our site.

I'll be making an italian version of the plugin soon. I'll give you a copy when I'm done.

So, is it still only one year for me to download?!

If you want to be an Italian translator for this extension, we will provide a life-time update for the extension
