I don't see "Choose Type" Module dropdown etc 11 Years, 11 Months ago Karma: 1
Hi

I have ARI Sexy Lightbox v. 1.9.0. Using it in Joomla 1.5.26.

I am trying to load a Joomla module into the lightbox.

However the module that I have does not match what I see in the documentation on this page. www.ari-soft.com/docs/arisexylightbox/html/ARI_Sexy_Lightbox_UserGuide.html

The module I have (version 1.9.0) does not show a way to load a module.

The Plug-in that I have installed just mentions the size of a module.

I assume the documentation is 1.9.0 specific -- but it doesn't seem to match what I have installed.

Any suggestions? See my attached screen shots so you can see why I am confused.

Thanks!

Here's the screen captures.

1) Documentation image of module (doesn't match my module)

2) My installed module. Has lots of features and perimeters, but nothing about choosing what module to display inside of lightbox.

3) My installed "anywhere" plugin. Only mentions module dimensions.

???

Thanks!

Hello,

Your screenshot doesn't contain all parameters. Find "Choose type" drop-down on module settings page and select "Module" in it.

Yipes! There it was staring me in the face!

Thanks for that clarification.

I am using the module as a joomla {loadposition position)

And using the module suffix styling to move the activation link over an image.

Right now I have a text link. Is there a way to have an image link instead of a text link? I don't think so, but thought I would ask.

A work around would for me to add a big font size text link and use the css style to make the text link invisible. What do you think of that?

Or is there a better solution?

Also is it possible to have the lightbox EMERGE from the "center" rather than dropping down from the top/bottom/left/right. I would like it to emerge from the link itself. So it looks like the video is coming from the player button graphic (or link) itself.

Thanks

You can use HTML code in link text and use an image as a link. See description of "Link text" parameter in documentation.

Thanks!! That's great.

I assume there is no way to have the lightbox appear EMERGE from the "center" of the link rather than dropping down from the top/bottom/left/right of the page.

I would like it to appear to emerge from the image itself.

So it looks like the video is coming from the player button graphic itself.

But if that's not possible, it's okay! Great extensions here!
