ok I will do that. I have not got the lightbox running on my site, so I was wondering (sorry to be cheeky) if you could set it up and possibly make a test page so i can see how it works

thanks I understand a bit more now. What I really want is to display my products in this lightbox instead of the core joomla lightbox (missvintagelover.co.uk/index.php?option=com_sebercart&view=store&ck=4) for instance - how do I use this lightbox integration

"ARI Sexy Lightbox Lite" is content plugin. Joomla! uses content plugins only in Joomla! articles, it doesn't execute it other content. For described integration can be used "ARI Sexy Links" plugin from ARI Sexy Lightbox package.
