hello guys, when I purchase this I installed everything because I wasn't sure what I would want. Once you guys help me to figure out all I needed was the plugin lightbox anywhere I started to remove things I didn't need. I deleted the mod_arisexylightbox from within joomla and that's fine. I notice when I check my FTP it was still there. so I deleted it from the FTP and then it rendered a blank page. once I add the mod_arisexylightbox back it worked. I find that strange that a module I disabled and deleted is still in my FTP and when I delete that which i'm not using crash the site. I'm just looking for an answer.

Hello,

Read readme.txt file from extension's archive please. "ARI Sexy Lightbox" module is required for the plugins from extension's package. You can install and disable it.

Thank you, sorry for the post. I'm always in the mind frame of deleting all mod/comp/plug when not using them per the joomla security check list that I over looked the fact.

your fast replied solved another issue which was the site was rendering error on page but that took care of it.

I guess my last question is. is there any issues with alot of plugins running jquery. My template has it built in, it's being pulled from google and another mod I I have had it. the other developer told me I had 4 different jquery running and I should disable all and leave 1. that's what prompted me to delete the module. I didn't know the right way to disable the jquery in the script

If the module is disabled it is not executed and not load any javascript files. If you want to disable jQuery library loading, open plugin settings page and set "Include jQuery" parameter to "No". Do the same for other extensions which use jQuery library (usually extension which is used 3rd party javascript library provide ability to disable loading of used library) and load jQuery library only once with help plugin like SC jQuery.

the module is disabled. I just confirmed it again before checking firebug and this is what I see. Thanks for the plugin I was looking for that.

<script src="/~christiu/newsite/modules/mod_arisexylightbox/includes/js/jquery.noconflict.js" type="text/javascript">
<script src="/~christiu/newsite/modules/mod_arisexylightbox/includes/js/jquery.easing.js" type="text/javascript">
<script src="/~christiu/newsite/modules/mod_arisexylightbox/includes/js/jquery.sexylightbox.min.js" type="text/javascript">

It is loaded by the plugin from module folder. It doesn't make sense to deliver the same files with the module and the plugin so the plugins load necessary javascript and CSS files from module folder.

As we wrote before, if you want to disable jQuery loading, set "Include jQuery" parameter to "No".
