Hi. We're using Joomla 1.6 and I've downloaded and installed Lightbox Lite to see if it will work for displaying YouTube videos. My goal was to test the Lite version before upgrading. My problem is what many others have experienced: the plugin is loaded and enabled... some of the parameters such as "Load jQuery library" are turned on as per the instruction in some of the other forums I've read on the subject... I'm using the demo code: <a href="
www.ari-soft.com?TB_iframe=1&width=700&height=325&modal=1" rel="sexylightbox" title="ARI Soft"> Show ARI Soft site in popup</a> just to make the lightbox appear. Bottom line... nothing happens. The page that appears when the link is clicked is like any normal link to another URL.
Normally, I would continue to research the forums prior to asking for help, but my concern is that the agency that put the preliminary template of our site together may have put in some custom features that are preventing the Lightbox from working correctly. For example, I'm asked to choose a "position" of where I want the module to be located. I find this odd since Lightbox Lite is a plugin. I'm also asked where I want to assign the module to a menu selection. Odd.
At this point, I'm lost. Any help would be appreciated.
