Hi

I would like to use a different page for the quiz description so I can get the layout that is consistent with the rest of my site and I would like to be able to place the quiz login on this page. At the moment our quiz login sits under the Quiz desciption which is generated from the Ari Quiz menu item

If I could have the login in a module I can then place the login where I need it

You can modify quiz description page template for your needs. It is located in <joomla_directory>/components/com_ariquiz/views/quiz/tmpl/default.php file.

no I need much greater control than that - I am using a page builder component for the site and I need to get the page layout exactly the same as the other pages - I really need to be able to add the login to the page by either adding the code or by having it in a module ...
