Cannot edit description in ARI Quiz 9 Years, 3 Months ago

I've just installed ARI Quiz, and uninstalled ARI Quiz lite. I needed some additional options with questions and results. I'm struggling now as I cannot edit the quiz description box. I've tried creating a new quiz, and I cannot edit the description box there either. I'm running Joomla! 1.5.18 and would love to migrate to a higher version, but am not familiar with that process. Please help with the description box issue. Thanks!
