quiz graded by points instead of percents? 9 Years, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello,

Is it possible to have a quiz graded by points instead of percents?
I would like to have questions with 2 or 3 possibilities, for each some points

A = 1 point
B= 5 points
C= 10 points.

And the result like this:

If you have 5 points, you are...

If you have between 10 and 20...

etc.

Hello,

Currently the extension operates only with percent. We are going to extend this functionality and add support absolute scores in "ARI Quiz" v. 4.x.

Not sure if this helps you out, but there is a work around.

Set the value of the question to "100"

Then set the answer values (under the "Free Text Question" question type) as A=1%, B=5%, C=10%, etc

I don't think you'll be able to include the $MaxScore or $PercentScore in the Text and Mail Result Templates. Might limit using some other fields in the results, but I'm not sure. However it sounds like you might not need them anyway, since $UserScore will show the points perfectly and you can just manually add the $MaxScore to the result templates if you need it to appear.

Hopefully that helps.
