Dear friends,

I have a quiz with 16 question but I asked to show only 11.

I have one Essay question that I must show at the end of the quiz.

This is a small essay that the students need to write.

How can I do that in every quiz the essay question will be shown?

Hello,

You can create two question categories inside a quiz and assign an essay question to one question category and other question to another category and use "Question count" parameter in question category settings to select necessary number of questions from the category.

I tried to do that but I cannot find where to add more categories.
I can choose only 1 category.

This is quiz categories, not question categories. Question categories are related to questions and it is possible to select a question category in question settings. See the image below:

Thank you for your answer.
What I don't understand is that I created the questions inside the quiz.
Then I assigned them to a category.
Should I delete the questions and insert them inside a question bank?

You can use "To Bank" button on quiz questions page to move questions from a quiz to question bank.
