Categories for bank questions should be created in the 'Bank Categories' section, not in the 'Question Categories' section. Please, enter the 'Bank Categories' section on your site and create categories for bank questions here.

OK, I have created Bank Categories, but I'm still missing something and your Help page is not very helpful!

1. What's the difference between Bank Categories and Question Categories?

2. When I click on Quiz in the joomla main menu, I get a list of the Quiz Categories and Quizzes - good. I then click on one of the quizzes and I get the description of that quiz - again, good. When I click on 'Continue' I get the error "Selected Quiz not available, contact with Administrator". Why don't I get the first question?

Bank categories are used only for logical separation of the questions from the question bank. Question category belongs to particular quiz and is used for separation of the questions by themes. It is possible to define additional parameters for each question category such as 'question count', 'question time'. These parameters are applied to all question from the given question category.

As for the the second question, it seems that your quiz doesn't contain any question. We'll add more clear explanation for this case in the next quiz release, which will be able on the next week.

I have created two demo questions and I've tried both allocating them to a Bank Category and to no Category, but I still get the same error. What is it that links individual questions to a particular quiz?

To add a question in a quiz please go in administration part to Components -> ARI Quiz -> Quizzes (you will see quizzes list) and follow the steps below:

1. For appropriate quiz in the Questions column click "View" link.
2. You will see the list of questions for a quiz. Click "Add" to add a questions.
3. If you want to add a question from a question bank click "Change" link right to "Question Bank Based" label.
4. In the popup select a question you are interested in.
