TOPIC: upload localhost to web server

upload localhost to web server 14 Years, 11 Months ago Karma: 0
I experimented to create a site on my localhost with 2 quizzes and about 2 or 3 questions.

I then uploaded the site for the web server, copied the database and changed the configuration.php file according to following link: docs.joomla.org/How_do_you_copy_a_site_from_localhost_to_a_remote_host%3F

On the web server, i gave permission to read and write.

After this, the site works execept the part of arquiz.

Is it necessary to have a further step for ariquiz?

Regards,

Rui Mourato.

visit www.freequizzes.info/codigo

the site is little bit different, because i've been trying to solve the problem.

I have uninstalled the version 2.3 and installed the 2.4

if you follow the link quiz, you will that the you see the quizzes, but in a template completly diferent of what i exepected.

If you follow the link testes, it says the page it doesn't exist. On my localhost, there's no problem.

Maybe it's better to build the site from the begining....
I'm just a little afraid of spending a lot of time creating the site, and if need to migrate to another web server...

It seems that it is not the component issue. If you click 'Login' link, page will look strange. It looks like that site was exported incorrectly. If you can provide access to your Joomla backend by email (info@ari-soft.com), we can try to help you.
