Hello,

I am wondering if we can get the FreeText question type with a Textarea for the users to send in their answers...

we have questions that have long answers and typing them in the textbox is a problem...

let me know if there is a way to get this done.

Do you mean "ARI Quiz" or "ARI Quiz Lite"?

You can modify question template. See <joomla_directory>\components\com_ariquizlite\view\questions\freetextquestion.html.php file.
