Using my own thumbnails ? 6 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,

I tried to use my own thumbnails (thumbnails displayed in the article) in order to reduce the loading time and solve resizing problems because I am using images with differents sizes.

I have set the thumbnail path, set generate thumbnails to "no", cleaned the jommla and firefox cache, but there is no changes...

I hope you could help. Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Do you use the module or plugin? What value do you use for thumbnail path and where original images are located?

ARI Soft

Hi,

I am using the module.

I have created a folder "thumb" in my image directory.

My directory is :

images/stories/articleechos

So I have set the path like this:

images/stories/articleechos/thumb

After your post, I tried :

images/stories/articleechos/thumb/

and just

thumb/

But without succes...

I hope that you can help me.

Best regards.

If thumbnails have the same name as original images, set "Thumbnail path" parameter to thumb/{$fileName} value.
