TOPIC: Getting ARI Magnifier to work

Getting ARI Magnifier to work 1 Year, 6 Months ago Karma: 0
I am a complete novice. Just started working with building my first website a couple of weeks ago. I am wondering how to implement the magnifier. I have installed it. I have placed the license in. Now where do I go from here??

I am trying to apply it to images that are brought through VirtueMart 1.1.1 and I am using Joomla 1.5.3.

I have read about
{arimagnify
src="big_img"
srcSmall="small_img"
thumbWidth="width"
thumbHeight="height"
}

This is the code to place each image on my product_details page. But every combination I can think of to add in arimagnify does not work.
<img src="/components/com_virtuemart/shop_image/product/<?php echo $productArray["product_thumb_image"] = $product_thumb_image; ?>" width="300" height="300" />

If someone could have the patience to guide me from the very beginning it would be much appreciated.

It looks like the problem is that you have splitted the code into multiple lines. Please write it in a single line. Next week we are planning new build that will add functionality to add pictures-magnifier to virtuemart.

If after writing code in a single line you are still unable to make it running please provide us with access to your Joomla! system and we will have a look. Please send us credentials via email.

I just bought your Magnifier and it seems to not work.

I also tried various ways of get it working, but still don't work.
I read your forum and did what you said about 1 liner, still not working.

Here is actually the combinations that I tried:

{arimagnify srcDir="/images/stories/frontpage/" includeSubDirs="true" thumbWidth="200" thumbHeight="200"}

{arimagnify src="/images/stories/frontpage/cena-01.jpg" srcSmall="/images/stories/frontpage/small_cena-01.jpg" includeSubDirs="false" thumbWidth="200" thumbHeight="200"}

{arimagnify src="/images/stories/frontpage/cena-01.jpg" srcSmall="/images/stories/frontpage/small_cena-01.jpg" thumbWidth="200" thumbHeight="200"}

I can not think of any other way after reading all forums and tried everything possible.

Hello,

Could you provide temporary access to your Joomla! backend by email (info@ari-soft.com) that we can investigate this issue?

I could, but I don't the problem is that the politics of the company here don't allow access by other admins.
Can you tell me what you need to know?

OK, provide the following information, please:

1. Do you enter license key on the component backend?

2. Domain name which you type in browser is the same as domain name for license key?

3. Is 'ARI Magnifier' plugin installed correctly? You can check it, if open 'Extension->Plugin Manager' page on your Joomla! backend, open 'ARI Magnify' plugin settings page and check that 'Description' field isn't empty.
