Changing CSS 2 Years, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
I have tried to change the CSS for the captions by adding a class into the template.css file but it loads the CSS from the module afterwards so not applying the css as hoped.

Is there a way to get this working?

Hello,

Could you specify what custom CSS rule(s) were added and provide a link to a page where we can see the slider?

Here is the CSS from Element Inspector...The first is from the module CSS, the second has been added to the template.css.
It is being developed locally so cannot easily show you.
But it is clear that it is loading the module CSS last as it is respecting the text-align: right;
I can also remove the background in the module CSS and then the template.css for the background is honoured.

.nivo-caption {
position: absolute;
left: 0px;
bottom: 0px;
background: #000 none repeat scroll 0% 0%;
color: #FFF;
padding: 0px;
width: 100%;
z-index: 89;
display: none;
opacity: 0.8;
box-sizing: border-box;
}
.nivo-caption {
background: #FFF none repeat scroll 0% 0%;
text-align: right;
}

For example add the following CSS rule:

BODY .nivo-caption {
background: #FFF none repeat scroll 0% 0%;
text-align: right;
}

and clean browser's cache.

That worked perfectly thanks. Not seen this before, is the CSS now being loaded last with the body?

Now trying to work out what css to change so that the slide show does not go over the menus, which it currently does, z-index doesn't seem to be working, the header and menus are fixed, so maybe they are being ignored?

"BODY .nivo-caption" CSS selector has more weight then ".nivo-caption" selector.

If you have a problem with z-index, provide a link to a page where we can see it.
