Unexpected behaviour from animated GIFs in Slider 10 Years, 9 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi all,

Does anyone have any advice for me?

See the site: pokerwinners.com/

I have five slides on rotation, pausing for 15 seconds each. One of the slides is a static JPG, the other four are animated GIFs. The GIFs are saved as Run Once - i.e. when you view them in a browser, they run through their frames and then freeze on the last one.

However, when viewed in Ari Slider, they sometimes start halfway through their animation, and when they get to the end, they sometime flick back to the first frame before Ari Slider moves onto the next GIF.

How can I make them behave themselves?

Thank you for any help.

Hello,

What browser do you use?

Hi there,

We are having this problem when viewing the site on IE, Chrome and Firefox on Windows and Safari, Chrome and Firefox on the Mac.

We are mainly using Firefox on Windows to administer the site, upload pics etc.

Thank you.

It seems you need a simple rotator without transition effects and other features.
