TOPIC: Module loads, but no images shown

Module loads, but no images shown 11 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
I am having trouble getting ARI Image Slider to work on a Joomla 1.5 site with the JA Purity template. The correct number of navigation dots show up, but I don't get any images. The path to the images seems fine and they are displayed when addressing them explicitly. It looks like I am getting a jQuery exception when the site loads. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jochen

Hello,

What extension do you use to load the module into an article? It seems this problem with this extension.

ARI Soft

Just the "Content - Load Module" plugin that comes with Joomla and the {loadposition ...} command. Are there any known issues? Thanks again, Jochen

Try to use another plugin like "Modules Anywhere" or "Module Plant".

If it doesn't help, could you provide a temporary access to your J! backend by email so we can investigate the problem?

It looks like "Modules Anywhere" requires at least PHP 5.3. My web server is still running on an older Linux distribution and uses PHP 4. I don't necessarily want to upgrade at this point since all hell might break loose. I have tried "Module Plant", but it crashed the whole web site as soon as it was enabled. Are there any good alernatives? I have you sent you an email with access information for a temporary administrator account. Any hints would certainly be appreciated.
