TOPIC: Cannot display slideshow in suitable position

Check your mail. We can recommend to contact site template developers because it is problem with code in their template. When a module is assigned to "slide" position, the site template loads own copy of nivo slider jQuery plugin and load a module into "slide" position only if "display_slideshow" site template parameter is set to "Yes".

Thank you for answering. I noticed a double load of slider. I have looked for a way to contact linelab.org but I cannot find a contact email address. It is too bad because I put a lot of time setting up my site and cannot get a way to show my slideshow. It is very disappointing! The display_slideshow parameter is set to "yes" and in either position_12 or slide, the slideshow does not show.

I changed the name="position-12" into name="slide" in index.php in the following code <jdoc:include type="modules" name="slide" style="none"/>. My slideshow is working now!

I have a similar problem

when the module is put under any module position, the images appear OVER the articles's text.

ponchadoybordado.com/web/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=91&Itemid=595

I want it to the article's side, so in theory, position 5 or 7 should work...but they isnt.

This problem with your site template. position absolute is defined for main content area in <joomla_directory>/templates/lardi20/css/template.css site template CSS file.
