Trouble Installing/Setting Up Flip Book 11 Years, 8 Months ago Karma: 0
I just purchased this module. I have followed all of the instruction as best I can, but cannot get the module to work properly. I have installed and enabled the "System - ARI Extensions" plugin, I have also configured the module ID and place it in an article. The book image does appear, but the text of the related article does not show on the book, it instead shows below the book. See attached screenshot. Another issue that arises is that if I make any changes to the settings, such as selecting a subcategory or including an article id number, I get a 500 Internal Server Error, even though the article id is the very article that I am adding the flipbook module to.

The last question I have is a matter of instruction, how can I be sure where the page breaks are? I’m trying to set up a book using the content from several articles that I want to display as a single document on my website. But from searching your site and other places, like JED, there’s no info as to how to set this up in the manner you have on your demo page. More detailed setup instruction, especially for those of use who are not syntax savvy would be greatly appreciated.

I tried to email this same message and it got bounced back to me.

Hello,

About 500 error, if you load the module into an article, add article ID to "Excluded articles" parameter in module settings.

Each article it is a page in flip book, the module doesn't split an article into several pages.

Could you provide a link to a page where we can see the problem like on your screenshot?

Hello, would it make more sense to create a single article and then only have that to display in the flip book? I wonder if this makes it easier to control and organize instead of having multiple articles. Does the flip book recognize pagebreaks?

Currently the module uses each selected article as a page in flip book. It doesn't support page break in articles.
