I would like to disable the automated thumbnail generator and upload individual crops of my thumbnails -> the whole picture in fancybox, a crop of the big picture as thumbnail view.
I tried different settings at the fancybox modul, but no solution.

I also tried a thumbnailpath: /thumbs{$FileName}, -> result every picture was double in the preview, one with crop (100Px) and one without crop (1024x768Px)

It seems you see double preview because "Scan subfolders" parameter is set to "Yes". Set it to "No" that the module doesn't load images from sub-folders. If thumbnails is stored in "thumbs" sub-folder in original images folder and have the same name as original image, use "thumbs/{$fileName}" value without quotes in "Thumbnails path" parameter that show your own thumbnails.

I have nearly the same problem:
My images are in

images/0001
images/0002
images/0003

and so on.

The thumbs are in
images/0001/thumbs
images/0002/thumbs
images/0003/thumbs

and so on.

The thumbs have the same filename as the images + extension. E.g:

images/0001/picture001.jpg

images/0001/thumbs/thumbnail_picture001.jpg


Is it possible to configure this situation in the module?
Or would it be possible to configure that the module scans only the first folder level under images/ and not the second /thumbs?

Hello,

If you don't want to show image from sub-folders, set "Image gallery -> Scan subfolders" parameter to "No".

If you want to show thumbnails from "thumbs" sub-folder in image folder, and thumbnails have name in the next format:

thumbnail_<original_image_name>

Set "Image gallery -> Thumbnails path" parameter to thumbs/thumbnail_{$fileName}

Thanks for your very fast reply. But when i deactivated scan subfolders i cannot show images which are under the folder images:

images/


It is not possible for the user to add all folders manually to the field "image path" of the module, cause there will be a lot of subfolders in the future. And the module should display the images automatically in one level deeper than the folder images/.

The best solution would be that i set "scan subfolders=yes", put the "Image path" and would be able to set how deep (levels) the modul will scan.

Is there a manually possibility to do this?
