Varying Hover Colours 7 Years, 5 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi guys...

I'd like to style my menu that each parent item has a different colour, and any pages under that parent item are the same colour...

e.g.
Item 1 (RED) (item1)
|- Sub Item 1 (RED) (item2)
|- Sub Item 2 (RED) (item3)
|- Sub Item 3 (RED) (item4)
Item 2 (BLUE) (item5)
|- Sub Item 1 (BLUE) (item6)
|- Sub Item 1 (BLUE) (item7)
|- Sub Item 1 (BLUE) (item8)

Currently I can assign colours using the "li.ux-menu-item4" however the ordering of the items is messing it up because if I add a sub item everything after it is thrown out.

I would love any help you can give me!

Hello,

Download and upgrade the module, please. After this you can use the following CSS rules:

Code:

.ux-menu-container .ux-menu li.ux-menu-item-parent-pos0 a
{
 color: red;
}

.ux-menu-container .ux-menu li.ux-menu-item-parent-pos1 a
{
 color: blue;
}

In other words, each parent menu item contains the following CSS class ux-menu-item-parent-pos[ITEM_INDEX] where [ITEM_INDEX] is zero-based menu item index.

ARI Soft
