Information about menu HTML layout and CSS classes is available here. It can be used to customise the menu.

Thanks admin, but I've not been successful (I can't see where it's getting the other colours from either, they're not in menu.min.css) - I've guessed variations on "ux-menu-link-hover.current {background...}" but that didn't work. [This is a vertical menu, in case that's relevant].

Add the following CSS rule to "CSS Styles" parameter in module settings:

.ux-menu .current>A:hover {background-color:red !important;}
