TOPIC: Width of sub menu too wide

Has this issue been solved yet?

I looked at your website, in Chrome, and saw that the sub-menu items' width seem to be okay. However the contact us menu item was pushed down under the other items.

I solved this by setting width: 100%; to the breadcrumbs div, as such:

Code:

#breadcrumbs {
color: #555;
width: 100%;
}

Changing the width to 100% does not mess up anything in FF as the menu was displayed correctly there.

Sometimes the solution is easier than you think

EDIT:
Had another look at your site and tried to resize the window a bit and noticed that the last menu item was still dropping down to the other row.

Rewrote a bit of code to make it work.
Code added in bold, code removed as strikethrough

#breadrumbs {
background: #2a343a; /*adding the background to the parent element will let you add more menu items without having to readjust the code each time*/
height: 31px;
padding-top: 1px;

}

#ariext114 LI.ux-menu-item118 {
width: 528px;
}

.ux-menu a {
margin-top: -1px;
}

.ux-menu-link-last a {
border-right: 0 none !important; /*Removes the right-hand border of the last menu*/
}

.ux-menu-sub {background: #2a343a;}

A bit more code, but the same result and without having the menu breaking down in two when resizing.

The only thing I'm left with is that when the browser is resized the menu breaks again. That's why I had that other code in there as it was suggested before to add that for the breadcrumbs area.
Any further ideas on how to accomplish everything thus far but still not have the menu break when resized?
Thanks again,
Jo

I tried adding the line min-width: 999px;

#breadcrumbs {
color: #555;
width: 100%;
min-width: 999px;
}
and noticed it resized nicely in firefox but not google chrome - any suggestions on that?

Set a width in pixels on #breadcrumbs. Setting the width in percent will cause it to resize with the window, if it's in pixels it will stay as such.

Hope that helps.

Edit:
Worked it out by a lucky guess. Set a min-width value in the #breadcrumbs css code and whola
