I would like to align the submenu items of the horizontal menu to the left so they do not indent to the right but instead are listed directly below the menu items. See www.amadeolaw.com.

Set "Sub-menu items styles -> Use main styles" parameter to "No" and "Sub-menu items styles -> Text align" parameter to "Left".

That doesnt seem to fix the problem, which appears whether the browser is explorer, firefox or chrome.

This problem with site template styles. Add the following CSS rule to fix the problem:

#centerpanel .ux-menu-container
{
text-indent: 0;
}
