Download the extension package in 'Member Area' and upgrade 'ARI Easy Slider' module, please. It should resolve the issue.

It works like a charm!
I noticed another issue (sorry guys, I am not an experienced user)
The {$readmore_link} predefined variables is not working. It displays the text of the link (I suppose) but it does not displays the link itself. Do I have to add a 'Read More...' field in my article?

Regarding new question, {$readmore_link} variable contains only link, not 'Read more' text or something another. It helps to create read more link in different views. If you want to use 'Read More...' text link, use the following pattern, please:
