Hi,

i copy pasted the {$title\|truncate:10} in the template field to try it out..

instead of outputting the title with 10 characters, it simply output {$title\|truncate:10}

All plugins are enables, running Joomla 1.6 latest version

any ideas?

Thanks!

Solved...it seems that you don't need the backslash \ before the pipe |

Hello,

\ symbol is not necessary. We will fix documentation. Sorry for inconvenience.
