Hi, i copy pasted the {$title\\|truncate:10} in the template field to try it out.. instead of outputting the title with 10 characters, it simply output {$title\\|truncate:10} All plugins are enables, running Joomla 1.6 latest version any ideas? Thanks!

Solved...it seems that you don't need the backslash \ before the pipe \|
