TOPIC: Issues with Searching table with Mailto Link

Issues with Searching table with Mailto Link 8 Months, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
I have an issue when a mailto link (<a href='Email'>Email</a>) is included in the column data, the search and sort field no longer works.

subassoc-dev.dpw-solutions.co.uk/index.php/branches/association-database

The [Current Members] tab the Members column has email address linked created through the SQL.

The other tabs [Members that Served in WWII] and [Crossed the Bar] are working as expected.

I am using version 1.15.13

Hello,

Could you provide the SQL query which is used to retrieve data?

The SQL command is (as not all members have an email address) :

SELECT if(`MAIL` <> "", concat("<a href='mailto:",`MAIL`, "'>", `Member`,"</a>"), `Member`) as Member, `Rank/Rate`, `Medals`, `Branch`, `Submarine Service` FROM `Current`

I have also tried

SELECT concat("<a href='mailto:",`MAIL`, "'>", `Member`,"</a>") as Member, `Rank/Rate`, `Medals`, `Branch`, `Submarine Service` FROM `Current`

The extension doesn't support complex computed columns when "Server side pagination" is used. Possible solution is creating a view based on your query and use a simple query into the module to retrieve data from the view.

Thanks for the response. The issue has been fixed by creating a View.

I can also confirm that turning off Server Side Pagination also fixed the issue however the page load time was unacceptable.
