Could you provide a link to a page where the chart is used and a temporary access to your J! backend by email so we can check settings?

If a data transformation is used ("Revert data" parameter is enabled or "Graph transformation" is enabled), "Columns settings -> ID" will work with keys from the modified data set. tc1 column doesn't exist in it. In your case date values are used as headers in new data set and it is not possible to change it with help of "Columns settings -> Format" parameter.
