TOPIC: Adding Hyperlinks in Data Tables

First, let me say I LOVE how quickly this generates a sortable table! Thank you for making life so much easier.

My question is, I have a column of last names and I would like each to link back to a pre-filled form (for updating) according to the record ID. How do I do that? There is some kind of link option, which I tried, but it appears to be for the headings. I need a link on each name.

Is this possible?

Hello,

Use "Columns settings -> Format" parameter for this purpose. For example if want to convert "Name" column to a hyperlink and use value of "ID" column in the link, populate "Columns settings -> ID" parameter with Name value and "Columns settings -> Format" parameter with the following value:

<a href="some_link.html?recordId={$columns:ID}">{$value}</a>

Thank you very much, this does add a hyperlink to each name. However, it's not linking back to the page I wanted.

Never mind! I figured out what I did wrong. Had to omit the last ItemId information from the link, which I had copied from another page.

Thanks again!
