TOPIC: Changing options in existing data tables quickly

Changing options in existing data tables quickly 9 Years ago Karma: 0
Hi.

Say for example, I have created thousands of datatable modules using the default theme, but I wish to change all to 'cupertino'. What is the fastest way to do this?

Does it also apply to say I want to switch Filter option to No instead of Yes for all the thousands of modules?

I'm not sure if going to the database in cpanel does the trick. If so, let me know too.

Thank you.

Hello,

Unfortunately Joomla! doesn't support bulk edit for module settings.

Oh gosh. Thanks for the depressing news.

I have thousands to change manually. I'm not sure how this Joomla or your Data Table module works. Is there a backend database where all these values are keyed into? I would prefer to edit them there than to open up each individual datatable.

Joomla! stores modules settings in #__modules DB table.

Thanks.

Seen it via the database.
That's worse than before.
