Is this module compatible with Falang? 9 Years, 4 Months ago Karma: 1
Hello

I'm trying to translate Ari Data Tables module by using
Falang.
I can access all module fields in Falang module translation area in backend.
In original language module shows it's content OK, but when I switch language to translated one, Ari DT module shows "No data available." message:
http://www.mare-vrbnik.com/mare7/hr/privatni-smjestaj-krk/popis-svih-objekatahttp://www.mare-vrbnik.com/mare7/hr/privatni-smjestaj-krk/popis-svih-objekata
(click on Eng flag, because only English translation is published atm)

Translation for everything else is working properly.

Questions:
- Is ARI DT module compatible with Falang?
- Do I need to play with plugin order? Atm Falang Database Driver plugin is set as first.

Joomla 2.5.27, latest ARI DT (downloaded and upgraded today)

Thanks,
Regards

Hello,

We will check compatibility "ARI Data Tables" with Falang.

BTW, Joomla! supports ability to create multilanguage site with 3rd party extension.

Hello

Joomla does support multilanguage by default (and some tweaking), so 3rd party is not needed for smaller websites, but for larger ones it creates a mess in backend, because it duplicate each (article, module, menu) item for each language.

That's why I'm using 3rd party like Falang. Previously I used JoomFish, but I stopped using it because of slow and recently non existent support.

Anyway I solved my issue by duplicating Ari Data Tables module 4 times, translating em, and with a help of Advanced Module Manager I assigned each module to each language.

Although I've solved my current issue, you could still look into it, because there will probably be other users with same issue.

Thanks
regards
