how can i get the data and options (data and options used to build the chart) to re-initialize the chart ex: var chart = new google.visualization.LineChart($("#chartID")); chart.draw(data, options);

It requires modification of the extension. For example wrap javascript code which is used to create a chart with a global javascript function and call it when tab is changed. For this see "initClientInstance" method in <joomla_directory>\modules\mod_aridatatables\includes\kernel\DataTables\Models\class.DataTablesWidgetGchartModel.php file. Regards, ARI Soft
