Update the module to the latest version, set "Load jQuery method" parameter to "Local copy" and clean Joomla! cache. It should help.

Currently the problem occurs because two instances of jQuery library are loaded.

Hi,

I tried searching for a module update but couldn't seem to find one. Currently it is 1.14.2 (May 2014) - is this correct?

I set the Load jQuery Method to Local Copy and cleared the Joomla cache, but this did not make a difference. I also tried changing the Include jQuery option to No to see if this would help, but then the table stopped appearing entirely and just sat there displaying the loading spinner forever.

I've checked my code and jQuery is not included anywhere else explicitly, although I assume when the data table tries to use the local copy it is using Joomla's included copy of jQuery.

Thoughts?

Edit: If it would help remedy the problem faster, I could provide a login to the backend for you to take a look at the settings and experiment?

It would be fine if you can provide a temporary access to your J! backend by email.

Hi,

I have elevated the account that I previously provided you to a super user level, so you should be able to login at greenbs.com.au/administrator

Under the module manager, the Job Data table is the one we are working on.

Data in created column are not "UK dates". It contains HTML code which looks like:

<a href="link">date</a>

so it is not sorted properly. If you want to sort these data, it requires to create a new sorter for "ARI Data Table" widget.

Hi,

Of course! I had forgotten that the links were probably messing with the sorting. This has answered my question, I now understand what the problem is and can work around it.

Thank you very much for all your help - as always your service is really great just like your products.
