CSS Classes not displaying multiple tables 10 Years ago Karma: 0
HI,

I am using CSS classes to define tables and give different tables a different features (colour, background etc.)

Unfortunately, when two table are displayed simultaneously (either in two modules or in two articles) the css classes do not seem to work, or only pick up half the formatting.

Have a look at this page: www.idru.com.au

The two tables are formatted with the same css styles (neither is 100% right)

Please help

Tony

The tables you can see on the front (home) page www.idru.com.au/en/ are designated with the table css class "redtable" (Note the table called Üpcoming Premiar Division Clashes). This same table (same module of type ari datatable) appears on this page www.idru.com.au/en/senior-rugby
As you can see the css styling (background colours, borders etc) are completely different although the module is the identical one.

This problem with custom CSS rules for "bluetable". It contains the following CSS rule:

table.dataTable.redtable thead tr th {
font-weight: bold;
font-size: 80%;
border-top: 1px solid black;
border-bottom: 2px solid black;
background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% black;
color: white;
padding: 5px;
}

It overrides default redtable background.

Hi,

Thanks for your response.

However, the problem seems to be more systemic.

Please look at the following two site pages:

www.idru.com.au/en/junior-rugby/upcoming-fixtures

and

www.idru.com.au/en/junior-rugby/latest-results-juniors

The first page displays correctly. The second page has the identical css-styling for all the tables, exactly the same as the tables on the first page.

I do not understand that the tables on the first page use the css styles, whereas the tables on the second page seem to ignore them randomly.

Thanks for your help

Check "Choose table type -> ARI Data Table -> Columns settings" parameters section in module settings for the tables. It seems nonexistent columns are specified in "Column index" parameter.
