Hi there,

Working with mysql and datatables, the load time for my data is very long, is there any tips you can give? Looking at around 5 - 10,000 records.

Never mind, sorted out the server side pagination and it's rapid. The search function doesn't seem to be working though. Can you help?

(SELECT field1, field2,field3, FROM table1) UNION ALL (SELECT field1, field2,field3, FROM table2)

This is repeated from various tables.

I've also seen a previous post about the datatables column add-on which I've installed, yet no filtering is being actioned.

Ideally I want to keep it simple and just have the search function working properly.

The extension doesn't support ability to use filters for "SELECT" SQL query with UNION when server side pagination is enabled.
