I'm under Joomla 1.6 and I have no problem with MySQL global setting up.
I'm using succes sfuly an other product "Plotalot" to send SQL requests on joomla databases and external db.
When I setup ARI Data tables to connect joomladatabse (or external) with default entries and very basic query, no error message shows up. Some settings are not recorded (like the SQL request) and no data is found.
Can you help me to fix this?

Hello,

Could you provide screenshot with list of Joomla! database tables and if it is possible, temporary access to your J! backend by email that we can investigate the problem.

here is a screenshot of my joomla db.
For your gentle offer to go on my backend, it can be possible only via teamViewer or Connectnow...

Could you send screenshot of DB tables, structure of pos_menu table and screenshot(s) of module settings page (that we can see all parameters) by email?

The problem was solved. "System - ARI Extensions" plugin was disabled.
