Missing Resize Parameter

Ari Colorbox is probably the best lightbox modul. Until today I worked with Simple Image Gallery Pro and I would like to switch to Ari Colorbox. But I'm still missing a very important parameter for the image gallery.

Right now there are no parameters available and therefore it only works if the aspect ratio of the images is equal to the thumbnails. But it doesn't work if there are landscape / portrait / panoramic images in the same gallery. The images are distorted and it just looks funny but doesn't make any sense.

Simple Image Gallery offers the opportunity to "Fit thumbnails to available viewport". If this is activated and the Image has the size of 600x400px and the thumbnail viewport has 200x200px then the image will be scaled to 200x133px. If it is deactivated the image will be resized to 300x200px and then cropped (left and right - you can always see the center of the image) to 200x200px.

I played around with the crop and resize parameters but it doesn't work if the images have different sizes. Attached you can see how it works. Is there a workaround to achieve the same result?

We have updated 'ARI Colorbox' and now it provides new parameter in 'Resize' section. 'Fit to viewport' and 'Crop to viewport'. It helps to do what you described in the first post.
